Part-Time or Full-Time Licensed Child & Adolescent Therapist

Mind Matters is excited to be accepting applications for a part-time or full-time child and adolescent therapist, with the potential for growth within the practice (program development, supervising, directorship roles, etc). This position is ideal for someone interested in working in an intimate and warm group practice setting with creative and collaborative clinicians.

We offer flexibility in hours and scheduling, and provide case consultation and/or supervision. All candidates must be willing to work a hybrid schedule, offering sessions virtually as well as in-person in our Upper West Side offices.

Applicants who bring enthusiasm, thoughtfulness, and a desire to learn are likely to be a great fit with our practice. Priority will be given to candidates who are qualified to provide individual and group supervision, facilitate multidisciplinary case conferences, and provide educational didactic seminars focusing on specific topics or treatment modalities.

Qualifications:

• Must have obtained a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited graduate program in psychology OR an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT from an accredited program.

• Must be fully licensed to practice in New York State.

• Competence and experience working with children and adolescents is essential.

• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, offering sessions virtually as well as in-person in our Upper West Side offices (full-time employment includes minimum 3-4 days per week in-person during after-school hours).

• The ideal candidate is warm, friendly, self-motivated, eager to learn and grow, has excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and values contributing to a team.
