My therapy approach is interactive and collaborative—I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where you can feel truly seen and heard. With over ten years of experience, I work with a broad range of emotional/behavioral concerns. I specialize in couples therapy, adolescent developmental challenges, women’s health transitions (including prenatal, postnatal, and perimenopausal stages), and addictive behaviors including disordered eating.
Utilizing an integrative approach, I practice evidence-based therapies which include psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness skills, emotion-focused therapy, and CBT. Our work will focus on developing specific skills to target distressing feelings and behaviors and/or identifying problems that interfere with the quality of your life.
Whatever brings you to therapy, I believe that you can build greater insight and create lasting positive changes in your life. As a multicultural psychologist, I am keenly aware of your unique background and use this to inform my treatment. My practice is LGBTQIA+ and poly/non-monogamy affirming and welcomes individuals of all identities and backgrounds.
