Talia Somma, M.Ed. currently works as a Middle School Math Teacher at The Gateway School, where she specializes in supporting students with language-based learning disabilities. With a Master’s in Moderate Disabilities from Lesley University and certifications including Orton-Gillingham Associate Level training, Talia is committed to making reading and math accessible and engaging for all learners. Prior to Gateway, she served as Head Academic Coordinator at Academics West, leading teams of teachers and providing targeted reading intervention for students in grades K–12. Her approach blends structured, multisensory instruction with a deep understanding of neurodiverse learning profiles. Talia’s passion lies in helping students build strong foundations in reading and mathematics while developing the confidence to succeed academically and beyond.
